--Your most valuable possession.
Just a quick
note to thank you for selecting First Alternative Chiropractic and
to let you know how much we're all looking forward to helping you.
WebMD on chiropractic care (Oct.
2004).
In our office,
we see patients with a variety of health problems respond to chiropractic
care. To help you get the most from your investment of time and
money, here are some suggestions we share with our newest patient:
1.
Keep your appointments. Each visit builds on the ones before.
Your care recommendations are based on our success with other patients
with similar health problems. Take the time right now to schedule
your next appointment for tomorrow, next week or next month by using
our
Online
Appointment Scheduler.
Please follow your care plan as recommended.
2.
Do your homework. In many ways, what you do at home and
at work can have a profound effect on your progress. This is the
time to eat right, rest and get the proper exercise. We'll offer
specific suggestions on future visits. Here are some other ideas.
Speed the Healing.
3. Give it time.
Healing is a process that takes time and is influenced by many factors.
Retraining muscles and soft tissue needed to support your spine
properly can take weeks to months of intensive care. Please be patient.
Medical
Mistakes.
4. You may
be feeling some soreness. The kind of soreness that you
get the day after a hard workout. Some muscles that were no used
much are now being asked to provide support to your changing spine.
These muscles will tire quickly since they are not accustomed to
this new task.
